"This was a technique we learned at the old Franklin Co, where we would do similar finishes on ceramics and pottery. I did this a lot when young and am now using the same style on pens. This is an oil based paint, with clear coats of protective varnish, meant to last. We'll post these online as we can, and they'll be seen at in person pen shows, and online pen shows. Each hand applied finish is of course unique and they will naturally be intrinsically rare. I'll repeat themes though so if you find a pen that is sold, you can sign up for the Back in Stock notice on the pen's page."
This piece is our Modified 40 FP featuring a silver finish with bits of blue, on a black acrylic pen. These are each painted very similarly to put multiples on this page. Each pen has layers of clear varnish to protect and last.
